A multi-vehicle crash and disabled vehicles on the shoulders have resulted in long traffic delays for miles along stretches of Interstate 75 in and around Marion County. 1 brother convicted, another not guilty in man’s 2019 murder in Hialeah Gardens

A man has been convicted in the 2019 beating death of a business associate in Hialeah Gardens, while his brother was found innocent in the killing. Zadiel Rivero was convicted Friday of second-degree murder in the February 2019 killing of 31-year-old Frank Canet. Rivero’s brother, Zandy de la Osa, was found not guilty of the charge. A child is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the area of South Park Road and 5th street in Hollywood on Thursday. Police say the victim and the shooter got into an argument last night resulting in the victim being shot in the head. The wreck happened in the toll road’s southbound lanes, just south of Okeechobee Road near Hialeah Gardens and Medley. Lightning strike sparks house fire in Seminole

 A lightning strike sparked a house fire Thursday evening in Pinellas County, according to Seminole Fire Rescue.
