According to an incidents list from FL511.com, a multi-vehicle crash took place at around 11:54 a.m. just beyond mile marker 336 on I-75 South in Marion County. A man has been convicted in the 2019 beating death of a business associate in Hialeah Gardens, while his brother was found innocent in the killing. Zadiel Rivero was convicted Friday of second-degree murder in the February 2019 killing of 31-year-old Frank Canet. Rivero’s brother, Zandy de la Osa, was found not guilty of the charge. A child is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the area of South Park Road and 5th street in Hollywood on Thursday. Police say the victim and the shooter got into an argument last night resulting in the victim being shot in the head. The wreck happened in the toll road’s southbound lanes, just south of Okeechobee Road near Hialeah Gardens and Medley.  A lightning strike sparked a house fire Thursday evening in Pinellas County, according to Seminole Fire Rescue. Firefighters were dispatched at 5:22 p.m. to a home on 128th Way near 91st Avenue N.  According to fire crews, two people were inside the home when it was hit by lightning during a thunderstorm. The Florida Highway Patrol said it is investigating a deadly crash on Friday involving an ATV and a truck in Fleming Island. FHP said the crash happened on U.S. 17 northbound at Hibernia Road in Clay County when a side-by-side vehicle and a pickup truck collided. It wasn’t immediately clear how many people were killed. A 70-year-old Florida woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 101 in Epping, New Hampshire, early Friday morning. Shortly before 2 a.m., state police said they responded to Route 101 west in Epping at the Martin Road overpass for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
