A man was shot and hospitalized early Tuesday morning after being followed by two men in a black Dodge sedan on Atlantic Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. A pedestrian was struck and killed along W. Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala, according to the police department. The crash happened Monday evening in the 1900 block of W. Silver Springs Boulevard. An off-duty Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Deputy was shot and killed Monday evening, deputies announced. The PBSO was dispatched at 7:32 p.m. at the 1400 block of NW Avenue D in Belle Glade in reports of gunfire. A 72-year-old man walking his dog near the oceanfront of Pompano Beach became the victim of a random attack Sunday evening, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Scooter rider hospitalized after collision with vehicle in Wellington

A person who was riding a scooter is in the hospital after a collision with a motor vehicle on Monday. According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR), at around 3:15 p.m. units were sent to the intersection of Stratford Court and Wellington Trace after receiving reports of motor vehicle and pedestrian collision.
