FHP said an 83-year-old man from Lady Lake was driving a 2012 Dodge Journey westbound on Vermont Avenue, near Wales Plaza. Troopers say at the same time, an 82-year-old woman from Lady Lake was walking west along the road when the front of the SUV hit her.
