 A man in his 20s was in stable condition after being shot multiple times during a confrontation involving an armed driver Thursday evening on Norfolk Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Officers responded around 5:30 p.m. Thursday to Norfolk Boulevard in connection with a shooting. Before officers arrived, the shooter called police to report the incident. Shortly after, a man in his 20s drove himself to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He was listed in stable condition.

Vehicle overturned after rear-end collision on State Road 81. One man is dead after being thrown from his vehicle and trapped underneath it. On Wednesday, around 3 p.m., a pickup truck and a vehicle carrying a trailer were heading south on State Road 81.
