A city of Miami firefighter is recovering in the hospital after having a medical emergency while training. According to Miami Fire Rescue, the firefighter, who has not been identified, was conducting a SWAT medic training on the Rickenbacker Causeway on Tuesday afternoon when the medical emergency occurred. The crash was shortly after 12:40 p.m., on Tuesday in the area of Southwest 72 Street, better known as Sunset Drive, and 144 Avenue in Kendale Lakes, according to his colleagues.
