A traffic collision at the intersection of Shadow Ridge Boulevard and SR-52 in New Port Richey on Wednesday morning resulted in the death of a 55-year-old man. One man from Acadia has been killed in a crash involving a Ford Focus on State Road 31 in DeSoto County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on Wednesday at around 7:43 p.m., they responded to a traffic crash near Southeast Ami Drive. The 48-year-old driver of the Ford died at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 50-year-old man was killed Thursday morning after the SUV he was driving hit a tree on the Northside.
