A motorcyclist and an SUV passenger were killed in a crash at Imperial Parkway and East Terry Street in Bonita Springs late Sunday after an SUV turned in front of the motorcycle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was heading north on Imperial Parkway at a high rate of speed at 10:23 p.m. At the same time, an SUV approached the intersection heading south in a left-turn lane. Both drivers had a green traffic signal at the time.

A major crash has shut down all of the northbound lanes on SR-429 in Winter Garden. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:45 on Friday morning at the Avalon Road exit. All of the northbound lanes were blocked but FHP reopened one lane around 9:30. Drivers can use Avalon Road, Seidel Road, and Summerlake Park Boulevard as detours while there are back ups in the area. The southbound lanes are not impacted by the crash. FHP

A major crash has injured at least one person on Toledo Blade Blvd Friday morning. Live FDOT cameras show multiple vehicles involved, one of those vehicles a semi with flatbed, is across the northbound lanes of Toledo Blade Blvd. Northbound Toledo Blade is closed at the ramps to I-75. Medics rushed a woman to a local hospital after a man shot her multiple times in Coral Springs on Thursday afternoon, authorities said. Police said the domestic-related shooting happened at around 3 p.m. at a strip mall in the 7600 block of West Sample Road. A 28-year-old woman was arrested Thursday on accusations that she stabbed a man in the arm in Pompano Beach.
