The Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed a deadly crash at 947 Park Ave. near the bestbet in Orange Park. A 24-year-old man was attempting to cross Park Ave. (U.S. 17) in what FHP said wasn’t considered a pedestrian crossing in that area. A car traveling south in the left lane collided with the man crossing the road. He was pronounced dead on the highway.  A 24-year-old woman was arrested following what police said was a fatal hit-and-run crash Sunday involving a pedestrian, according to a police spokesperson and records obtained Monday. A pedestrian is dead after police say they were involved in a traffic crash in Lynn Haven. Lynn Haven Police say the crash happened in the area of 25th Street and Highway 77. An FHP spokesperson said the crash happened at 4:43 p.m. when the ambulance was trying to take two people for treatment at a local hospital. A dirt bike rider was killed Sunday in an accident at Orlando Motocross Park. According to Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to 19400 East Colonial Drive for a report of an accident involving two dirt bikes.
