A disabled and injured man was rescued after a large house fire erupted in North Fort Myers. The fire started early Sunday morning. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said field training officer Rachel Bauer-Fithian and Tyler Voege, a deputy trainee, saved the man who was trapped in a bedroom.  Over a dozen vehicles, boats and other items were involved in a “rapidly spreading” brush fire in Plant City.
