1 injured after being trapped under vehicle that overturned in Orlando

Crews responded to the crash with entrapment on Colonial Drive and Fern Creek Avenue where they located the person “trapped underneath the vehicle.” The patient was safely extricated and taken to ORMC with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. Police in Orlando are investigating a death Tuesday at an apartment complex. Officers said the incident happened around 5:35 a.m. in the 5900 block of Peregrine Avenue. Florida AHCA releases new operating room details in fatal liver removal error

 How did it happen? That’s the question investigators are working to answer after a surgeon at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast reportedly removed a man’s liver instead of his spleen. It happened back in August. The patient, William Bryan, died on the table. Early Tuesday morning at about 1 a.m., two Volusia County residents were pronounced dead after their car spun out on I-10, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). Family files suit against Orlando hospital, alleges employee fatally broke baby’s neck

The family of Jahxy “Jazzy” Peets claims a healthcare provider within the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies broke the baby’s neck, killing her.  A lawsuit was filed against the Orlando Health hospital on Friday, claiming it tried to cover it up.
