A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash on State Road 9B at E Town Parkway Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office found themselves in a highly unusual pursuit when a man led them on what they have called “possibly the slowest chase in FCSO history” — crawling along U.S. 1 at just 3 mph. PBCFR says the fire occurred in Wellington on Meadowbreeze Drive at around 12 p.m. Firefighters say they saw a large cloud of smoke even before arriving. Upon arrival, crews learned the fire began in the garage and spread throughout the attic space. PBCFR says it took one hour to bring the fire under control. A Florida woman has been jailed after allegedly firing a shot through an apartment, nearly hitting a sleeping woman earlier this week.
