A woman and two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and shootout outside a Miramar Flanigan’s earlier this month after police said they left a trail of evidence behind after the crime. A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday after reportedly fleeing from a traffic stop on Interstate 75 northbound and crashing into a pickup truck and trailer in south Fort Myers. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers tried to stop a motorcycle traveling on the shoulder of I-75 northbound near mile marker 118 in Lee County. Miami-Dade police investigated a shooting Tuesday morning that left one person injured. It happened at around 10 a.m. in the 1400 block of Northeast 117th Street, just south of North Miami. The victim, described by police as a male, was shot in the leg and taken to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, police said. Police didn’t specify his age. A Miami-Dade Police Department spokesperson said he was uncooperative. Authorities have not yet said whether they’ve identified a suspect or a motive.

Miami Beach police arrested a man on a DUI manslaughter charge Monday after they said he drove at nearly three times the legal limit when he crashed his Mercedes-Benz SUV into a palm tree in mid-July, killing his passenger.  The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said two people have been shot at a restaurant in Brooksville. Deputies said the shooting happened on the 31000 block of Cortez Boulevard. A Flagler County mom is facing a felony child neglect charge after her 3-year-old child was found playing in a kiddle pool while unsupervised.  A neighbor first discovered the toddler alone in the small pool at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and contacted the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office after 20 minutes of unsuccessful attempts at knocking on the front door.  Flagler County deputies arrived, and that’s when the child’s mother – identified as 25-year-old Kassidy Wren – walked out of
