The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a vehicle crash that caused a fatality on northbound Interstate 95 near U.S. Highway 192 on Tuesday, according to a release from the FHP. Thirty-three men are in custody Tuesday after the Marion County Sheriff’s Office conducted an online sting operation. Deputies, with the help of other agencies, posed as children online, and the men contacted them asking to engage in sexual activities. Fanning Springs Fire Rescue (FSFR) officials said they responded to a call at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday for two pedestrians who were hit by a car. The incident occurred at the intersection of Northwest 168th Lane and Northwest 80th Ave in Fanning Springs.
