A man in Riviera Beach was arrested Tuesday for shooting into a moving vehicle and blowing out the rear window earlier this week.
On Sunday, shots were fired after an altercation between Stephan Patterson, 27, and the driver of a gray Honda, Tremaine Robinson, 40, according to the arrest report.
During a sworn statement, Robinson said he was driving near the Marina along East 13th Street when he saw Patterson and pulled over to speak with him.
“Do you want the fade?” Robinson said before Patterson pulled out a black handgun from his pants.
Patterson leveled the gun and Robinson began to peel away.
As Robinson drove away, he heard gunshots strike his rear window, the arrest report stated. He kept driving, his rear window crumbling, until he got home and his wife called the police, the report said.
Officers asked Robinson where they could find Patterson, who was already on probation for a separate aggravated assault charge. The officers drove to his apartment on an adjacent street and knocked on his apartment door, but no one answered, the report stated.
Two days later, police arrested Patterson and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and firing into a moving vehicle. He’s currently being held without bond.
