An unmarked Broward Sheriff’s Office pickup truck was struck by a vehicle and flipped onto its side Wednesday afternoon as detectives were trying to stop another driver who was fleeing from authorities on Interstate 95, authorities confirmed. A crash Thursday morning between a car and a dump truck killed one person and shut down both directions of traffic on Lucerne Park Road.
