One person has been airlifted after a major crash along the Palmetto Expressway early Monday morning prompted lane closures at Interstate 75. A man was killed early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on I-75 in Sarasota County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday evening, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.
