Pedestrian fatally struck on I-10 in Bonifay

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 6:30 a.m., the 29-year-old pedestrian was running westbound in the center median near the 114-mile marker on I-10. Troopers reported that the pedestrian ran into the inside lane in front of the van. The driver of the van attempted to avoid hitting the pedestrian by swerving into the median.
