17-year-old shot, killed in late-night Pierson shooting, deputies say

A 17-year-old was killed and an 18-year-old was injured after a shooting on Wednesday night in Pierson, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.  The incident happened in the area of 380 Main Street around 10:15 p.m.  When deputies arrived, they found a car that had crashed into the wood line along Main Street.
