According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 6:40 p.m., a 28-year-old North Fort Myers man was driving a Chevy Malibu on I-75 north of Luckett Road. The sedan and a semi-trailer slowed down due to traffic. FHP states the driver of the semi-truck failed to slow down. The front of the semi-truck crashed into the back of the sedan.

Three people died in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Lake County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 2 p.m. on County Road 33 near Bridges Road near Groveland.
