A 61-year-old man is dead after striking a pickup truck Wednesday morning in St. Johns County, Florida Highway Patrol said. Officials said an SUV was traveling south on State Road 207 in the left lane. A pickup truck was stopped in the right-turn lane of Cypress Links Boulevard. After a 13-year-old girl was run over and killed while riding a bicycle in Brevard County, family and neighbors are calling for changes to what they say is a dangerous road. Shortly after 3:30 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol stated in a preliminary report that troopers responded to I-75 northbound, near mile marker 341, in reference to a crash involving three semi-trucks. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of four individuals after a shooting in Bayou George over the weekend. According to officials, early Saturday morning officers responded to an address on Charles Road in Bayou George about a shooting. When they arrived they found a man had been shot, he has since been treated for his injuries and remains in the hospital. It was found that the victim agreed to sell a small amount of marijuana to another man.

A deadly late-night shooting has investigators urging anyone with information about the killing to come forward and reach out to law enforcement.  Miami police have made another arrest in connection with a kidnapping that ended in a shooting on the Julia Tuttle Causeway in September. Police took Kelly James Perpall into custody Tuesday on charges of attempted murder, armed kidnapping and home invasion robbery with a deadly weapon.
