Crews responded to a boat on fire along the Intracoastal Waterway on Sunday and found smoke rising over the water by a nearby home. According to deputies, the crash was reported at about 5:15 a.m. on Card Sound Road, about 8 miles south of U.S. 1. Deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews arrived at the scene. A bicyclist was hit and killed by an SUV Monday night on U.S. 301 in Dade City, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.  Troopers said a 73-year-old Dade City man was driving a Jeep Cherokee northbound around 9 a.m. when, south of Ruth Avenue, he crashed into a man riding a bicycle in the travel lane.
