Six people affected by house fire in Port St. Lucie

Police: Uncle arrested after 10-year-old accidentally shoots himself in Hialeah

A 33-year-old man was arrested Sunday by Hialeah police after the man’s nephew accidentally shot himself with his gun, authorities said. According to an arrest report, D J S Jr., of Miami, has temporary custody of the 10-year-old. A suspected DUI driver was found passed out behind the wheel in downtown St. Petersburg with two young children in the car, according to an arrest report.
