According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian was facing southbound in the center lane of Military Trail, near the Woolbright Road intersection, on Saturday, when the vehicle came up behind him. Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a 46-year-old man from Live Oak was riding a bicycle when he was hit and killed. Troopers say around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, a pickup truck was headed west on U.S. Highway 90. The cyclist was also headed west in the bicycle lane.
