Gainesville Fire Rescue (GFR) officials confirmed they responded to Satchel’s Pizza early Sunday morning in response to a vehicle fire. According to the business’s social media post, someone came in around 8:20 a.m. and started setting off small fires inside the iconic van parked outside the restaurant located on Northeast 23rd Avenue. photo by: WPTV One person is facing a charge of DUI manslaughter after hitting and killing a bicyclist with their vehicle in Boca Raton Sunday morning. Boca Raton Police told WPTV that the incident happened near 1400 N. Ocean Boulevard when a male bicyclist in his 40s was riding in the northbound bicycle lane and was hit by a vehicle also going northbound. The driver was arrested at the scene. Part of I-275 South in Pinellas County was blocked Saturday night due to a crash. Sections of both lanes were temporarily shut down around 9 p.m. near the Skyway North Toll Plaza. FDOT cameras showed long lines of traffic with emergency vehicles on the side of the road. Drivers were being asked to move over and slow down. A head-on crash in Manatee County Saturday night left two people dead and three injured, according to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol.
