At around 8:40 p.m., a 2003 Nissan Xterra was traveling eastbound on Old Winter Garden Road, to the west of the Buena Vista Avenue intersection, in Orlando, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The report stated that the woman was standing in the eastbound inside lane on Old Winter Garden Road, in the direct path of the SUV.

A 28-year-old woman from Ocala was injured on Thursday morning after her vehicle rear-ended a Marion County school bus that was carrying 50 students. A suspect stabbed another person in San Carlos Park Thursday afternoon. According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the stabbing happened on Albatross Road around 2 p.m. They say the unnamed suspect took off, and the victim was left with non-life-threatening injuries. A shooting in Orange County left three people injured and one dead on Thursday. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, around 8:30 p.m. near the 2800 block of Gamma Drive, the shooting occurred. Deputies found four men in their 20s who’d been shot at the scene. All four of them were taken to the hospital. One of them died after being taken to the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies said this appears to be a targeted shooting.
