A major Miami roadway connecting Interstate 95 to the Miami Beach area has been reopened after a traffic crash killed a 60-year-old pedestrian Tuesday morning, police said. A 911 call around 5:22 a.m. alerted first responders to the crash at Northeast 79th Street and Northeast First Avenue, Miami police spokesman Michael Vega told the Miami Herald. Two Florida men were critically injured in a Halloween crash. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, October 31, an SUV driven by an unidentified 56-year-old man from Marianna was heading southbound on State Road 73 when the driver attempted to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone.
