The Orlando Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead on Tuesday. According to OPD, officers responded to the 1400 block of Mercy Drive in reference to a shooting around 1:15 p.m. There, officers located three people with gunshot wounds. All three were transported to hospitals. Police say one individual is confirmed deceased, and one is expected to survive, but the condition of the third victim is unknown. The suspect has not been identified at this time.

The mother of an 8-year-old Clearwater girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert on Monday morning was found dead, and the father has been charged, according to the Largo Police Department. All northbound lanes of I-295 are blocked Wednesday morning because of a deadly crash on the Dames Point Bridge.
