Just before 9 p.m. Sunday, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 500 block of West Sunrise Boulevard. Crews say when they arrived, they found two minivans involved in the crash, with one overturned and people trapped inside. A total of nine people were taken to Broward Health Medical Center. Seven of them suffered serious injuries and three of the injured are children, authorities said. Their conditions have not been released. The crash is under investigation.

A crash between a pickup truck and a semi-truck has closed the lanes of Interstate 75 in Broward County. The accident happened near I-75 and Indian Trace Boulevard. Crews from Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the accident, and discovered a person stuck inside the pickup. A driver was left uninjured after his vehicle crashed in Hillsborough County late Saturday night. A driver is recovering after a crash involving a tractor-trailer early Sunday morning in Hillsborough County. A motorcyclist and an SUV passenger were killed in a crash at Imperial Parkway and East Terry Street in Bonita Springs late Sunday after an SUV turned in front of the motorcycle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was heading north on Imperial Parkway at a high rate of speed at 10:23 p.m. At the same time, an SUV approached the intersection heading south in a left-turn lane. A major crash has shut down all of the northbound lanes on SR-429 in Winter Garden. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:45 on Friday morning at the Avalon Road exit.
