A 10-year-old is in critical condition tonight after being hit by a car on Beach Boulevard, just before the intersection at Tamaya Boulevard. A fight involving a crowd of about 200 juveniles broke out at the South Florida Fair over the weekend. Palm Beach County Sheriff (PBSO) deputies were working to get several fights under control at the fair Saturday night. In all, five were arrested. One person has died from their injuries sustained during a fire on Dewey Street in Hollywood, according to a Hollywood authorities. A 54-year-old Brooksville woman died on Monday, Jan. 22, after a one-car accident, the Florida Highway Patrol said. At about 7:45 a.m., her Nissan Altima was traveling west on Wiscon Road.  West of Mobley Road, for an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which departed the roadway, entered the north shoulder and struck a tree.  The unrestrained driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. A fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in Plantation is under investigation. It happened Saturday just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Northwest 31st Avenue and Broward Boulevard in Lauderhill. Police in Lakeland say a 61-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman are dead after what appears to be a murder-suicide Saturday.
