A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night on Clark Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened about 9 p.m. near the intersection of Jason Lee Place. Investigators say an 18-year-old Sarasota man was riding a motorcycle east on Clark Road when an SUV heading west near Sawyer Loop Road turned in front of the motorcycle. The Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal crash on U.S. Highway 90 in Midway, where traffic is being rerouted this morning. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 90, according to the FHP. A “religious debate” outside a North Florida convenience store turned violent when a man took offense and began attacking two men who didn’t share his views, investigators say. The “violent assault” left one man with multiple stab wounds and the other with bruises to the face, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.  An after-school care teacher in Hillsborough County was arrested for sending inappropriate messages to a teenager over social media, according to authorities.  According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, a former BridgePrep Academy employee in Riverview sent a 13-year-old student inappropriate TikTok messages.  Marcos Suarez Arroyo, 20, was fired from the school, and the incident was reported to HCSO on December 12. A woman is accused of shooting and killing her 40-year-old husband inside their Florida home, according to sheriff’s officials.
