A person was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle in Port Charlotte Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP said in a press release that a Dodge Ram pickup truck was facing north on Harbor Boulevard at Veterans Boulevard. The driver, a 69-year-old man from Port Charlotte, was stopped at the posted stop sign.
